How to warm up on a cool Eastern NC weekend!
It's a dreary weekend in Eastern NC. so we are making our own sunshine! A warm fire, perfect for warming your belly - dog and little boys alike ;-) The menu this morning was an attempt at crepes, friendship or Russian tea (recipe below) and tackling a mountain of laundry so the house smells great and feels snuggly. This recipe stores well in an air tight container and also gifts well, looking adorable in a mason jar for friends alike. It's a fun and different alternative to warm apple cider or hot cocoa on a chilly day. HIGHLY suggest using unsweet and decaf tea and adding a little stevia or your preferred sweetener if, like at our house the littles like to enjoy a warm cuppa. . .you're welcome in advance! Two to four teaspoons per mug of boiling water seems to work best. Enjoy!
